To join a video conference, PC users utilize a video conferencing plugin built in their browsers. The plugin is technically named VideoMost ActiveX control for Internet Explorer, and VideoMost plugin for Firefox, Chrome, Safari or Opera (Windows).
The required software is installed as soon as the users joins a conference for the first time, or can be downloaded from VideoMost website and installed at your convenience.
PC browser plugin
Video conferences run directly in the video conferencing service web pages. To join a conference, you need to install a video conferencing browser plugin. The plugin is installed as soon as you join a conference for the first time, or during the software updates.
Your OS and browser are detected automatically, and the proper software (browser plugin) is installed.
Internet Explorer plugin
When the installation confirmation window appears, click "Install" button. As soon as the installation is complete, the service will be available for use. Restarting the browser is not required.
To ensure correct software functioning, it is recommended to access the browser settings window: Browser properties -> Security -> Other – and set "Script ActiveX controls marked safe for scripting" parameter to "Allow".
Firefox, Chrome, Safari or Opera (Windows) plugins
When the installation confirmation window appears, click "Install now" button.
As soon as the installation is complete, restart browser. VideoMost service will be available for use.
